I've been in touch with Funimation on this and they reiterated what was stated at NYCC by the representative at the time. Obviously, things can change but that was what was given to the press when posed with the question of EVA casting and acquiring the rest of Shakugan no Shana. There are no assurances, but its better than being given a no comment.
